About Me
My Background
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been interested in people- what affects how we think and feel, what influences the choices we make, and what helps us enjoy life more fully. I completed a degree in Journalism, drawn to the power of listening and understanding someone’s story, and this interest in the human experience eventually led me into coaching.
I’ve spent over 15 years working within the NHS, alongside raising three young children. Like many women, I understand the mental load of balancing work, home and family life, and the often unspoken expectations that come with it.
My Professional Training
I became particularly interested in the ways ADHD can manifest differently in women, often looking very different from the more visible hyperactive presentation many people associate with ADHD- particularly in midlife, where increasing responsibilities and hormonal shifts can intensify or expose long-standing challenges.
As such I decided to pursue a professional ADHD coaching qualification which I really enjoyed completing and am now working towards full accreditation with the Universal Coaching Alliance. I also hold certificates in counselling skills, understanding autism and Mental Health First Aid, and I am an associate member of the Association for Coaching.
Who I Work With
I work primarily with women diagnosed or self-identified with ADHD navigating midlife- this will often be mothers juggling work, family responsibilities, running a home, and managing the invisible mental load. Many may experience mental clutter, emotional intensity and burnout which can impact on all areas of life.
I also have a particular interest in how perimenopause affects ADHD, recognising how hormonal changes can significantly influence symptoms and wellbeing. For some women, this stage can highlight previously unrecognised ADHD traits, contributing to late diagnosis or self-identification.
My Approach
My coaching approach is calm, thoughtful and grounded. I don’t believe women need to become more productive- I believe they deserve support that helps them feel clearer, more in control, and more at ease to enjoy their life more fully.
I offer a supportive, non-judgemental space where you can feel understood and begin making meaningful changes at your own pace.
If this feels like the kind of support you’re looking for, please do get in touch using the contact form to arrange a free introductory call.
